The prize money for senior events remain the same as for 2022. The prize money for the junior events has increased greatly for 2023. In the under 16s for open cycling, track & field and the open dancing and the U18s for Clay pigeon shooting and piping – the prizes are:
1st £30, 2nd £25, 3rd £20, 4th £15, 5th £10
For the 800m junior cycling Scottish Championship:
1st £100, 2nd £50, 3rd £40, 4th £35, 5th £30.
In the 12 and under open dancing and the under 15 piping – the prizes are:
1st £25, 2nd £20, 3rd £15, 4th £10, 5th £5.
In the dancing confined to Caithness:
12 and under:
1st £15, 2nd £12, 3rd £10, 4th £8, 5th £5
13 to 16:
1st £20, 2nd £15, 3rd £10, 4th 8, 5th £5
Over 16:
1st £25, 2nd £20, 3rd £15, 4th £10, 5th £5.
