Scottish Championship for junior cyclists | Halkirk Games

We are delighted to announce that we have the privilege of hosting a 4th Scottish Championship for 2023. As well as the light and heavy hammers and the 800m senior cycling, we will be hosting the 800m (scratch) junior cycling Scottish Championship for the first time. As well as a special medal, the prize money is 1st- £100. 2nd – £50. 3rd – £40. 4th – £35. 5th – £30.

The prize money for the other junior cycling events (and all other junior events on the programme) has increased this year. 1st – £30. 2nd – £25. 3rd – £20. 4th – £15. 5th – £10. Juniors are the future for keeping Highland Games alive and this fantastic prize list will hopefully encourage juniors to participate, get a taste for competing, and carry on to compete in the open senior events.
