The 2019 Games was a scorcher with hot sunny weather for the first time in many years. A crowd of around 3,000 watched some fantastic competition, with five records broken – ground records in the high jump by Alan Smith (1.9m), Alan Hamilton in the hop, step & leap (47’5″) & Vlad Tulacek in the 56lb weight over the bar (17 feet). Caithness records in the 22lb stone putt by Jamie Gunn and Kevin MacGregor in the Farmers Walk. Press reports will be in the Press & Journal on Monday 29th and the Caithness Courier on Wed 31st.
