2023 Parade | Halkirk Highland Games, Scotland

At 12 noon, the Thurso & District Pipe Band, Wick Royal British Legion Pipe Band and the Queen’s Own Highlanders Association Pipe Band will lead the parade of the Games Committee members from the Ross Institute in Bridge Street to the main arena in the village’s Recreation Park. The official opening by the Games Chieftain the Rt Hon. Viscount John Thurso, takes place at 12.15pm. The Pipe Bands will parade in the main arena at regular intervals throughout the afternoon and the final parade takes place at around 5.20pm.  There is also a street parade by the Pipe Bands in the evening from 7.30pm to approximately 9pm, which takes place on Bridge Street in front of the Ross Institute.
